Save the Date Calendar

Thank you Lois for stepping in for the inspiration challenge today at Splitcoaststampers. I was inspired by this calendar easel made by Melissa Craig. The calendar was created using my Printmaster program. It is the rest of  2017 and all of 2018. It is stapled together using a heavy duty stapler that is  capable of stapling 100 pages if needed. I created the  background by resizing the Power Poppy Gerbera Daisies that I masked out (removed) the stems and turned into a PGN image to layer them. The flowers are colored with Copic Markers. The calendar base is 4 inches wide x 5 inches tall.

The easel was created using a piece of card stock 4 inches wide x 11 inches long. It was scored at 1/2, 5 1/2 and 10 1/2 inches. Another piece of card stock 4 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches long was scored on the  2 3/4 inches side at 1 3/8 inches.  This piece was glued to the 1/2 inch scored flaps on the bottom of the calendar base.
